Born on 17th September 1990, Mudit Sood took deep interest in listening music since the age of 3. A hardcore fan of A.R Rahman, Mudit’s journey towards music making started in a rather ‘odd’ fashion.
It started by picking up a simple tune of a movie and presenting in a fresh and new fashion. Those recordings came to be known as ‘A Pal from Outer World’ . With this small release Mudit ‘dived’ into the ever changing and dense music world.
‘A Pal from Outer World’ was a very small step into music for him. It was just a small experimentation of sorts. He took to audio programming and computer music in late 2007. He never took any music lessons till date. The only teacher he ever had is SaReGaMa who taught him the basics in audio programming. In April he made his first ‘techno’ track. Then he never stopped and made 2 more tracks till June that year. He made a total of 6 tracks out of his creative knowledge and took out 3 of the best tracks and released on Jamendo as an EP called ‘Dynamic Inheritance’ on July 21 2008. It’s cover work was designed by another Jamendo artist phonicboom .
At present Mudit, a management student, is giving finishing touches to his debut album ‘The Scattered Thoughts’. This album borrows three ‘remastered’ tracks from Dynamic Inheritance EP. ‘The Scattered Thoughts’ is somewhere between Electronica and Techno with a hint of Trance.
